Procurement Specialist – Indirect & P2P Operations

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will drive end‑to‑end indirect procurement and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes, ensuring timely, compliant purchasing of goods and services that meet business needs. You will act as a key liaison between business units, procurement functions, and finance, supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full Procure‑to‑Pay cycle: requisitioning, purchase order creation, contract implementation, invoicing and issue resolution.
• Ensure contracts are correctly entered and maintained in procurement systems, handling complex agreements.
• Maintain data accuracy in procurement tools to support smooth approvals and downstream processing.
• Serve as the primary interface for Procurement, business stakeholders, and Finance on Source‑to‑Pay matters.
• Address queries, close process gaps, and resolve operational issues raised by stakeholders.
• Prepare procurement reports, dashboards and operational updates as required.
• Support supplier base management, performance monitoring and contract pricing negotiations.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in operational procurement, including transactional and tactical activities for indirect and direct spend.
• Strong understanding of procurement, finance and accounting concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, SAP Blue Planet, SAP P20 Logistics & Finance, SAP P10 S/4 HANA.
• Familiarity with tools like myOrders, Webcycle, CLM‑Apttus and E2Open.
• Experience with end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Pay processes in SAP environments.
