Procurement Coordinator / Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

King Rose Construction is seeking a Procurement Coordinator/Manager to lead purchasing and supply‑chain activities for its construction projects in New York and across the United States. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective, and compliant procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services to support project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle: sourcing, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, bid analysis, contract negotiation, purchase order processing, and supplier performance evaluation.
• Develop and maintain vendor qualification processes to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support project teams in selecting subcontractors, service providers, and specialty vendors.
• Build strategic partnerships with local and national vendors to optimize pricing and delivery.
• Monitor material lead times, communicate supply risks, and collaborate with Operations, Estimating, Finance, and on‑site teams.
• Implement best‑practice procurement, cost‑saving initiatives, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, insurance, bonding requirements, and contract terms.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including bid tabs, contract files, and change orders.

Required profile

• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, vendors, and supply‑chain dynamics.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage contracts.
• Experience collaborating with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and senior leadership.
