Process Expert – Logistics Invoice Verification

About the role

The Process Expert – Logistics Invoice Verification ensures accurate processing of transporter invoices for the India and Germany logistics operations. The role involves validating invoice data, posting entries in SAP, and handling any deviations or escalations. It also supports tax queries and prepares regular cost reports.

Key responsibilities

• Validate transporter invoice data, confirm services, and verify rates.
• Post invoices in the SAP system and record quality deviations.
• Follow up with transporters for credit notes and address invoice deviations.
• Handle daily escalations from customers, vendors, and transporters.
• Ensure detective control procedures are followed and perform reconciliation and monthly provisioning.
• Respond to Central Tax team queries related to GST and TDS.
• Monitor daily KPIs and produce monthly MIS reports on freight cost.

Required profile

• Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar invoice processing role.
• Extensive experience in processing invoices.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting databases and record keeping.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Express.
