Principal Technologist – Product Development (R&D)

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a seasoned software developer to join its Core Services team in Bangalore. You will design and build innovative, cloud‑native industrial software that helps customers modernise automation and engineering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable, secure, high‑availability systems using .NET Core, Azure micro‑services and Kubernetes.
• Implement message‑driven designs, clean architecture, identity management and granular access control.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and global teams to deliver new features and maintain existing codebases.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure high‑quality standards and work in an agile CI/CD pipeline.
• Mentor teammates, share knowledge and continuously grow technical expertise.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in C#/.NET.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
