Principal Architect & General Manager – India Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect / General Manager to lead our Architecture, Design, Multimedia, Signage, and Fit‑Out operations in India. Reporting to Saudi‑based leadership, you will drive the growth of our Hyderabad team while expanding into external client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage India operations covering architecture, design, BIM, signage, multimedia, and fit‑out teams.
• Oversee design and delivery of F&B, retail, restaurant, hospitality, and commercial fit‑out projects.
• Manage and develop architects, interior designers, BIM professionals, and other technical staff.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with Saudi‑based teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop new business opportunities and build relationships with external clients.
• Lead client presentations, proposals, negotiations, and project discussions.
• Establish design standards, workflows, quality controls, and operational processes.
• Monitor project profitability, resources, timelines, and overall business performance.
• Drive growth and expansion of the India operation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 12+ years of experience in architecture, design, fit‑out, or related industries.
• Proven experience delivering F&B, retail, hospitality, restaurant, and commercial projects.
• Previous experience managing architectural/design teams or an office.
• Strong knowledge of BIM, architectural design, construction documentation, and project delivery.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
• GCC/Saudi project experience is highly preferred.
• Willingness to coordinate closely with international teams.
