Plumber – Full-time On-site

About the role

The university in New Delhi is seeking a qualified Plumber to join its facilities team on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will ensure that all plumbing infrastructure operates safely and efficiently, supporting the daily needs of faculty, students, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment across campus buildings.
• Inspect pipe networks, identify leaks or faults, and perform timely troubleshooting.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with local safety standards and university policies.
• Provide courteous and responsive service to internal customers when addressing plumbing issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plumbing, pipe installation, and repair.
• Background in maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
• Relevant certifications or technical training in plumbing (preferred).
• Prior experience in a campus or institutional environment is an advantage.
