Pharmacist – Full-time (Chennai)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our client’s pharmacy team in Chennai on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves dispensing medications, ensuring prescription accuracy, and providing patient education on medication use and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medicines and verify dosages according to pharmaceutical regulations.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, and patient safety.
• Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage and stock levels.
• Educate patients on proper medication use, possible side effects, and adherence.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
• Keep detailed records and documentation to comply with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacy licence for the state or eligibility to obtain one.
• Prior experience in a clinical, hospital or retail pharmacy setting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and professional collaboration.
