Performance Test Engineer (CE510ST RM 4112)

About the role

The Performance Test Engineer will design, execute, and analyze performance tests for complex, containerized applications deployed on‑premise and in the cloud. You will work independently with clients, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights to improve system reliability and speed.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy test instances and PostgreSQL databases on Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and GCP.
• Develop and run performance tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, Apache Benchmark, Cypress, and custom scripts.
• Monitor and diagnose bottlenecks using New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and database query analysis.
• Log and track product issues in Jira with detailed reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate findings and verify performance fixes.
• Present results and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Maintain documentation in Confluence and improve test automation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of dedicated performance engineering experience, preferably with distributed cloud products.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ownership attitude.
