Pastry Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Pastry Assistant to join our team at The Donut Affair in South Goa. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the creation of our handcrafted specialty donuts and offers a hands‑on learning environment for anyone passionate about pastry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, baking and shaping of specialty donuts and other pastry items.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food‑safety standards throughout the production process.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure efficient operations.
• Contribute creative ideas for new flavors, designs and product improvements.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for pastries and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Previous experience in a bakery or pastry setting is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Baking and pastry preparation techniques.
• Understanding of hygiene standards and food‑safety practices.
• Creativity in developing new pastry designs.
