About the role
Amazon is looking for an Operations Lead to manage shift operations at its delivery centre in Guwahati. You will work closely with the centre manager to ensure smooth transportation operations and support performance management across the facility.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the centre manager to maintain efficient Amazon transportation operations.
- Execute the delivery process from the delivery station to the customer’s address.
- Ensure sufficient staffing bandwidth for both facility and delivery teams, especially during peak periods.
- Continuously improve delivery processes and sustain performance improvements through effective planning.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in spoken, written and read English.
- Strong execution and action‑oriented mindset with the ability to work with limited resources.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making quick decisions and driving clarity for the team.
