Nurse Assistant (GNM/BSc/MSc Nursing)

About the role

The Nurse Assistant will support the nursing team in delivering high‑quality patient care within Apollo Hospitals. The role involves assisting with clinical tasks, monitoring patient health, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good coordination skills.
• Initiative, moral support and a compassionate approach to patients.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
