Nurse Assistant – Clinical Support

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join our team at Apollo Hospitals. The role involves supporting nursing staff in delivering high‑quality patient care and ensuring smooth operation of clinical services.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history, symptoms and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medication and treatments under supervision.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.
• Provide bedside care, monitor patient health status and report changes.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Operate and care for medical equipment according to protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• Academic record with first division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.

Required skills

• Medication administration.
• Point‑of‑care testing.
• Operation of basic medical equipment.
• Computer literacy for record‑keeping.
