Multi Carrier Landside Senior Specialist

About the role

The Multi Carrier Landside Senior Specialist ensures a continuous and efficient flow of freight by managing driver operations, coordinating container movements, and resolving any issues that arise during the dispatch process. This role works closely with drivers, terminals and clients to guarantee timely pickups and deliveries while optimizing transportation efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate freight movements, assigning loads to drivers and ensuring timely pickup of loaded and empty containers.
• Monitor driver activity from the previous day and confirm active task execution.
• Schedule cargo pickup and delivery appointments at ports and arrange chassis reservations.
• Maintain communication with clients, terminals and drivers to confirm successful movements.
• Request road service and chassis maintenance as needed and escalate driver‑reported issues.
• Use optimization tools for planning, update the customer’s TMS, and send container recaps.
• Report container damages and produce daily recap and hand‑off reports.
• Assign loads and empties in Trinium.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate with 4‑5 years of experience in operations, financial analysis, shipping or logistics.
• Willingness to work full night shifts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate data‑driven solutions to business stakeholders.

• Proficiency with Windows applications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots, complex formulas).
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Power BI.
• Python or R (advantageous).
