Marketing Communications Executive – Digital Campaigns

About the role

The Marketing Communications Executive will join Cell Press’s global Marketing team, based in Chennai, to drive digital marketing campaigns for a portfolio of leading scientific journals. You will work closely with Marketing Managers and the Senior Campaign Executive to ensure campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Support the deployment of email and digital marketing campaigns across the Cell Press journal portfolio.
• Coordinate campaign scheduling, bookings, and asset preparation, including proof‑reading email content and creative materials.
• Set up, execute, and perform quality‑assurance checks in email marketing platforms.
• Compile performance data for reporting and optimisation.
• Maintain and update content on Cell Press digital platforms, including cell.com.
• Manage events, announcements, and organic social media posting.
• Handle conference collateral ordering, shipping, and customs documentation.
• Raise purchase orders, manage expense reports, and track financial records.
• Triaging inquiries from the feedback inbox and routing them to resolution.

Required profile

• Availability to work the 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift.
• Experience in digital marketing, marketing coordination, or an operational role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email marketing platforms.
• Strong attention to detail for quality assurance and proof‑reading.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
