Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to support GIS projects and other logistics activities for Hitachi Energy. The role involves coordinating shipments, managing inventory and ensuring smooth supply‑chain operations across our production facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate timely and accurate shipments, preparing bills, invoices and shipping documents.
• Receive orders, add items to inventory and track warehouse stock.
• Plan and manage logistics, transportation, warehouse and customer service activities.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Monitor supply‑chain operations, ensuring effective use of premises, assets and communication channels.
• Utilize logistics IT systems to supervise orders, stock raw materials and equipment, and optimise procedures.
• Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements, maintaining logs and records.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a logistics coordinator in a production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with logistics management software or IT tools.
