Locum MBBS Doctor (School Medical Officer)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified MBBS doctor to work on a locum basis as the School Medical Officer for a CBSE school in Sector 57, Gurugram. The role involves providing day‑to‑day medical support to students and staff during regular school hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver basic medical care, first‑aid treatment and minor injury management.
• Supervise and maintain the school medical room, ensuring medicines and supplies are stocked.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students.
• Stabilise medical emergencies and arrange referrals when necessary.
• Conduct routine health screenings, check‑ups and promote hygiene and preventive health awareness.
• Coordinate with school administration and parents on health‑related matters.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with a valid NMC or State Medical Council registration.
• 0–3 years of experience (freshers are welcome).
• Availability for a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Immediate joining capability.
