Lead Front Line Manager - Electrical Assembly

About the role

The Lead Front Line Manager – Electrical Assembly is responsible for overseeing electrical assembly and commissioning activities, ensuring work is scheduled, prioritized and executed safely and efficiently. The role drives continuous improvement, supports a strong safety culture and contributes to departmental and organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule electrical assembly and commissioning tasks, confirming material availability and estimating job times.
• Maintain equipment, implement efficient assembly processes, and apply techniques such as debugging, wiring, soldering and cutting.
• Interpret electrical plans and technology drawings, translating them into physical assemblies.
• Analyze and improve assembly workflows, applying lean manufacturing and waste‑reduction methods.
• Identify root causes of issues, develop corrective actions and supervise testing, troubleshooting and functional verification.
• Establish and enforce quality‑control procedures, conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide training for assembly engineers on new equipment, procedures and best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of processes, design changes and project progress, preparing reports on improvements and quality metrics.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in machine building or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of machine assembly – electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and digital control systems.
• Familiarity with EMS standards, shop‑floor management, ergonomics and lean concepts (Agile workshops, SFMC).
• Basic proficiency in SAP.
