Lead Administrator L1 (Windows Server)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Administrator L1 to take ownership of high‑priority incidents, ensure SLA compliance and drive system performance improvements across our Windows Server environment. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, analyse trends and implement mitigation measures.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging and resolving high‑priority (P2) incident tickets with advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Monitoring SLA adherence for assigned technologies and managing proactive escalations.
• Analyzing system performance data, supporting capacity planning and recommending optimisation actions.
• Designing and implementing mitigation measures, evaluating new tools and improvements in collaboration with technical teams.
• Conducting disaster‑recovery drills, security assessments and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Participating in weekly and monthly service review meetings, reporting performance metrics and communicating with stakeholders.
• Collaborating with team members to close open tickets and service requests.
• Contributing to knowledge‑base updates, SOPs and documentation for future ticket resolution.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in Windows Server administration.
• Proven ability to handle high‑impact incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of SLA management, performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Experience with disaster‑recovery processes and security compliance.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
