Junior Recruiter – Fast‑Growing Ice‑Cream Brand

About the role

You will support our hiring, mainly for store and kitchen roles. You'll source and screen candidates, schedule interviews and keep every candidate updated from the first call to the joining day. It’s a great opportunity to learn full‑cycle recruitment at a fast‑growing premium food brand.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates for store crew, managers, kitchen and production roles using job portals, social media, referrals and WhatsApp groups.
• Screen CVs and conduct first‑round phone interviews.
• Schedule interviews, trials and coordinate with store managers and operations teams.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Organise walk‑in drives, campus visits and local hiring events.
• Collect joining documents, run background and reference checks.
• Keep the hiring tracker and ATS up‑to‑date daily.
• Post and refresh job listings across portals and social media.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR or a customer‑facing role (freshers with an MBA/BBA in HR are welcome).
• Comfortable speaking with people all day in English and Tamil; knowledge of Kannada or Telugu is a plus.
• Organised, quick to follow up and able to manage multiple candidates simultaneously.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Interest in food, retail or hospitality is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Chennai and occasionally to Bangalore and Hyderabad.
