Java Web Developer – Build Scalable Applications

About the role

We are seeking a Java Web Developer to design and implement scalable web applications for Gridscape Solutions’ renewable energy platforms, including microgrid and EV‑charging systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based web applications using Spring MVC/Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate SOAP services.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB).
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to deliver responsive UI components.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments.

Required skills

• Java and Object‑Oriented Programming.
• Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot).
• Hibernate / JPA.
• Maven for build and dependency management.
• RESTful API development and SOAP web services.
• SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Git version control.
• jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript for responsive UI.
