Java Fullstack Developer

About the role

Join SAP's Procurement Product Team as a Java Fullstack Developer, working on cloud‑based spend management solutions within the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will collaborate with architects and senior developers to design and deliver high‑quality software that powers global commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production‑grade Java applications independently, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
• Work across organizational and geographical boundaries to design state‑of‑the‑art software components.
• Apply clean‑code principles, conduct code reviews, inspections, unit testing and performance measurements.
• Participate in agile development cycles and follow CI/CD processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong command of object‑oriented programming and core Java.
• Experience with UI technologies, OData, REST APIs and at least one database (SQL or NoSQL).
• Ability to design solutions for complex requirements and collaborate effectively.
