About the role
The Italian Sous Chef will lead multiple kitchen teams at Queen Margherita's Pizzeria, overseeing daily operations for Italian‑inspired dishes. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on high‑quality food preparation, menu innovation, and strict hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring smooth service.
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Maintain safety and hygiene regulations throughout the kitchen.
- Contribute to menu development and innovate culinary offerings.
Required profile
- Expertise in Italian cuisine, including pizza, pasta, and traditional recipes.
- Leadership and teamwork abilities with excellent communication.
- Formal culinary training or certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards.
