IT Support Specialist (Tier 1/2) – Chennai

About the role

The IT Support Specialist will join Husky Technologies' Chennai team to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 assistance to internal users. You will be the first point of contact for incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user calls and tickets via the incident management system.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting on hardware, software, and network issues.
• Document detailed steps taken, limitations encountered, and escalation actions.
• Provide resolution guidance and, when needed, train end‑users on fixes.
• Escalate complex cases to Tier 2/3 support teams.
• Occasionally allocate time to IT project activities.
• Administer user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
• Support on‑prem corporate conferencing and meeting rooms.
• Monitor system performance metrics and maintain hardware/software inventories.

Required profile

• Experience working in a Tier 1/2 IT support environment.
• Familiarity with incident management and ticketing tools.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with users and providing training.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with higher‑level support teams.
