Housekeeping Specialist

About the role

Gravita India Ltd is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist to oversee cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene across its corporate premises and guest house. The role involves developing policies, leading a team, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all housekeeping operations across offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, corridors and the company guest house.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Lead, train and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with corporate cleanliness standards.
• Schedule and allocate tasks to guarantee timely completion of duties.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Create cleaning schedules and checklists for all areas and equipment.
• Provide ongoing training on cleaning tools, safety protocols and effective techniques.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping-related issues or complaints and resolve them professionally.

Required profile

• Graduation degree in any discipline, preferably Hospitality.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in housekeeping, including 3‑5 years in a supervisory role.
