About the role
Gravita India Ltd is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist to oversee cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene across its corporate premises and guest house. The role involves developing policies, leading a team, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping are consistently met.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all housekeeping operations across offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, corridors and the company guest house.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Lead, train and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with corporate cleanliness standards.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to guarantee timely completion of duties.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Create cleaning schedules and checklists for all areas and equipment.
- Provide ongoing training on cleaning tools, safety protocols and effective techniques.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping-related issues or complaints and resolve them professionally.
Required profile
- Graduation degree in any discipline, preferably Hospitality.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in housekeeping, including 3‑5 years in a supervisory role.
