About the role
The Housekeeping Host ensures that all brand standards are met in guest rooms and public areas at Andaz Delhi. Working closely with other departments, the host delivers the Hyatt brand promise through meticulous cleaning, guest service, and timely reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Verify room status reports and accurately complete the Attendant’s Verification Report.
- Replenish mini‑bar items, raise bills for consumption, and report any room defects or lost/damaged items.
- Clean and make‑up guest rooms, empty soiled linen, and maintain pantry and toilet cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, back‑of‑house areas, and keep trolleys organized.
- Check and clean operating equipment, replace light bulbs, and refresh flowers in guest rooms.
- Provide night turndown service and update room status via the telephone interface system.
- Handle guest and internal customer complaints courteously, forwarding feedback to housekeeping leadership.
- Support the People Philosophy by demonstrating Hyatt values and maintaining professional relationships.
- Participate in training sessions, adhere to fire, hygiene, health and safety policies, and uphold high standards of personal grooming.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand standards.
- Ability to work flexibly with other departments and adapt to changing housekeeping needs.
- Good communication skills for handling guest inquiries and reporting issues.
- Positive attitude toward guests and colleagues, fostering good working relationships.
- Understanding of hotel policies, safety, and hygiene procedures.
