Head of Quality Management

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a visionary Head of Quality Management to lead its quality department in Aurangabad, India. You will be responsible for shaping the quality strategy, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary management of the quality department and its staff.
• Define and maintain a quality information system and key‑figure metrics in partnership with process owners.
• Report quality status to senior management and communicate quality policy throughout the plant.
• Plan and align processes with Siemens regulations, initiate improvements, and conduct root‑cause analyses.
• Ensure site certifications, lead internal audits, and manage corrective actions.
• Guarantee product safety by aligning with defined processes and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering or production.
• Proven track record in quality management, audits, process and project management.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and EN 15085.
• International exposure and excellent interpersonal skills.
