Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, service‑oriented individuals to join the Food & Beverage team at ibis Kochi City Centre. As a Guest Service Associate you will deliver exceptional dining experiences and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest queries, complaints and requests, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Coordinate seamlessly with all hotel departments to maintain smooth operations and morale.
• Identify cost‑effective resource use and educate team members on financial best practices.
• Set up and inspect operating equipment, linen, and condiments before service.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu and property layout, including fire exits and elevators.
• Clear soiled tableware, reset tables for the next guests, and minimize breakage, pilferage and spoilage.
• Report equipment malfunctions, emergencies or suspicious activity to the Food & Beverage Executive.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Basic operational technical knowledge is an advantage.
• Pleasant personality with high energy, enthusiasm and commitment.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work collaboratively.
• Flexibility, initiative, sincerity and strong teamwork orientation.
