Fund Controller

About the role

KKR is seeking a Fund Controller to join its India team. This full‑time, onsite position will lead fund administration activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the firm’s investment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end fund administration and accounting processes.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for investment funds.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
• Maintain the integrity of financial data and support strategic finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in fund administration and financial statement preparation.
• Proven experience in finance and accounting, preferably within investment management or financial services.
• Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or additional certifications are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial software platforms.
