Full Stack Web Developer – Pune

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to design, build, and operate modern, secure, and scalable web applications. You will work hands‑on with the Lead, Product, UX, QA, and DevOps/SRE teams to deliver high‑quality customer‑facing and internal platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end features using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python (Django/DRF) on the backend and React/Next.js with TypeScript on the frontend.
• Design, implement, and test well‑structured backend services, business logic, integrations, data access layers, and API endpoints.
• Build responsive, accessible UI components, applying modern patterns, state management (e.g., Redux), and performance best practices.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs with versioning, backward compatibility, and clear documentation.
• Write automated unit, integration, and UI tests; contribute to CI/CD quality gates.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and traces; participate in on‑call or support rotations as needed.
