Frontend Software Engineer – Web Applications

About the role

YouTrip is looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer to design and build highly scalable web applications for its multi‑currency digital wallet platform. You will work closely with product and backend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences for millions of customers across Asia Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern front‑end technologies such as React and Redux.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with back‑end developers to integrate APIs and server‑side logic.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness using techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
• Debug issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement robust solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging web technologies and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of front‑end architecture and UI design principles.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
