Frontend Developer – HTML/CSS (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Frontend Developer specialized in HTML and CSS to support high‑impact AI training and evaluation projects. You will work remotely with a fast‑moving team that builds AI‑first services, reviewing and improving AI‑generated frontend code to ensure it meets modern web standards.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review AI‑generated HTML/CSS snippets, improving correctness, structure and visual clarity.
• Evaluate markup for semantic accuracy, maintainability and compliance with current web standards.
• Assess layout solutions for responsiveness, accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Analyze UI implementations for consistency in spacing, typography, colour and design best practices.
• Provide detailed feedback on common issues such as improper semantics, inefficient CSS, layout breakages or accessibility gaps.
• Help train AI models by rating the quality of generated frontend solutions and reviewing related prompts.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including semantic markup and modern layout techniques.
• Good understanding of responsive design, mobile‑first development and cross‑device compatibility.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and ARIA basics.
• Ability to critique frontend code for clarity, structure and best practices.
• Interest in contributing to large‑scale AI systems.
• Basic knowledge of frontend workflows and design‑to‑code translation is a plus.
