Freelance POSH Trainer Consultant

About the role

Indicus Legal is seeking experienced freelance consultants to design and deliver POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training programmes for a variety of organisations. The role is project‑based and involves both virtual and in‑person sessions for employees, managers and Internal Committee members.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging POSH awareness and sensitisation workshops for staff at all levels.
• Conduct specialised training for Internal Committee members to meet statutory requirements.
• Facilitate webinars, interactive workshops and on‑site sessions across diverse sectors.
• Create customised training materials, case studies, presentations and learning aids.
• Provide practical guidance on reporting mechanisms, workplace conduct and compliance obligations.
• Stay current on legal developments, investigations and best practices related to POSH law.
• Collaborate with Indicus Legal’s legal team to ensure accuracy and consistency of content.
• Support client‑facing initiatives that promote workplace compliance and employee awareness.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience delivering POSH or similar workplace awareness programmes.
• Strong knowledge of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
• Proven track record of training corporates, startups, educational institutions or large organisations.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to conduct both virtual and in‑person training sessions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience as a legal professional, HR professional, compliance consultant or certified POSH trainer is preferred.
