Fire Safety Deputy Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Fire Safety Deputy Manager to lead design and audit activities for fire protection and detection systems across brownfield projects in India. The role combines technical design, compliance auditing and coordination with MEP and HSE teams to ensure life‑safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design and engineering drawings for fire protection and detection systems using AutoCAD.
• Perform hydraulic analysis and sizing using specialized software (e.g., Pipenet, KY Pipe, Elite, Canute, Sprinkcal).
• Conduct fire safety audits, risk assessments, fire load calculations and adequacy assessments for industrial, commercial and building projects.
• Collaborate with design engineers, fire engineers and HSE consultants to verify functional performance of installed systems.
• Document audit findings and recommend corrective actions to meet regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• B‑Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in fire safety design, auditing or risk assessment.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD and hydraulic analysis tools.
• Familiarity with fire protection standards and life‑safety codes.
