Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will act as the strategic financial leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis and control to support the brand’s service strategy. This role ensures accurate accounting, robust risk management and profitable operations while aligning with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual budget plans, forecasting sales, expenses and wages.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify profit improvement opportunities.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain strong accounting controls to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor accounting teams, communicating strategic goals and ensuring accountability.
• Prepare timely financial reports and ensure accurate profit and loss documentation.
• Support property strategy from a finance and accounting perspective.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR a master's degree in the same field with no experience required.
