Financial Controller – Hotel Finance

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Finance department of DoubleTree by Hilton Jaipur Airport, ensuring accurate financial recording, compliance with local regulations, and timely reporting to support hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the Finance team and ensure accurate posting of charges and credits.
• Maintain and reconcile all balance‑sheet transactions in line with local laws.
• Oversee weekly bank reconciliations and monthly balance‑sheet analyses.
• Drive the month‑end closing process and prepare required financial reports for the Director of Finance.
• Ensure compliance with Finance Standard Practice Instructions, Internal Control Programme, and SOX through regular audits.
• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and preparation of monthly financial schedules.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes and conduct payroll audits when applicable.
• Manage tax compliance, liaise with government authorities, banks, and insurance providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a finance team in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
• Ability to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reports.
• Familiarity with internal control frameworks and SOX compliance.
