Field Sales Executive

About the role

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business within the assigned territory by meeting prospective customers, presenting the company’s products and services, and building lasting relationships. This role is ideal for candidates with 1‑3+ years of field sales experience who are motivated to meet targets and grow their sales career.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing customers and prospects across the Chennai territory.
• Identify and create new business opportunities through field visits, referrals and networking.
• Present and explain product/service offerings to potential clients.
• Convert enquiries into sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and conduct regular follow‑ups.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery and after‑sales support.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and daily visit reports.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the territory.
• Submit timely sales reports and updates to the reporting manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 1‑3+ years of experience in field sales, direct sales or business development.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English; Hindi is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with email and CRM tools.
