Field CISO – Identity Security & Governance

About the role

TechDemocracy is expanding its Identity Security leadership team and is looking for a Field CISO focused on Identity Security & Governance. The role sits at the crossroads of executive advisory, solution leadership and revenue growth, acting as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs and business leaders to transform identity programs into core security controls aligned with Zero Trust, compliance and risk‑reduction goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advisory to senior security leaders on identity security transformation, IGA maturity, Zero Trust, Agentic AI and Non‑Human Identity governance.
• Lead IAM pursuits, shape deal strategy, drive RFP/RFI responses, pricing and closure for strategic and new accounts.
• Architect and position enterprise IAM solutions including SailPoint (IIQ/ISC), Saviynt (EIC/IGA), Access Management, CIAM, PAM, directory and identity infrastructure.
• Conduct POCs, demos and solution workshops that translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure scalable, compliant implementations and oversee key engagements at executive level.

Required profile

• 14+ years of experience in IAM, identity security or broader cybersecurity.
• Proven record of presales, solution selling and closing large enterprise deals.
• Strong ability to influence C‑level stakeholders and lead cross‑functional sales, delivery and partner ecosystems.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.

Required skills

• Deep expertise with SailPoint IIQ, SailPoint ISC and Saviynt EIC/IGA.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Identity Governance, Access Management, Privileged Access Management and Cloud IAM.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR and SAMA.
• Familiarity with emerging concepts like CIEM and Non‑Human Identity governance.
