Field Application Engineer (FAE) – India

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Application Engineer to support ADLINK's growth in India. The FAE will provide technical expertise for industrial computing and edge AI solutions, working closely with sales and engineering teams to deliver optimal customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the India sales team to offer technical consultation and design suitable solutions based on ADLINK’s product portfolio.
• Analyze customer requirements, prepare proposals, and conduct product demonstrations, proofs‑of‑concept and technical documentation.
• Assist customers during product evaluation, system design, design‑in, integration, and deployment phases, providing troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to customers and partners as needed.
• Work with RMA, product management and engineering teams to resolve complex issues and gather market feedback for product improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in field application engineering, technical support, or embedded/industrial system engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel domestically for customer visits and project discussions.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
