About the role
The Executive Housekeeper leads all housekeeping and laundry operations for a Hilton hotel, ensuring high cleaning standards and seamless coordination with other departments. This role is pivotal in delivering the exceptional guest experience Hilton is known for.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain department SOPs and policies.
- Direct daily housekeeping activities, overseeing guestroom and public area cleanliness.
- Develop and deliver training programs for team members.
- Manage staffing schedules, payroll control, and budget compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, back‑of‑house areas, and public spaces.
- Supervise laundry operations, including guest laundry, uniform, and linen management.
- Hold daily briefings with managers to communicate VIP arrivals, guest complaints, and special assignments.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Front Office on room repairs, deep cleaning, and room blocking.
- Prepare annual budgets for uniforms, FF&E, and operating equipment and present them to the Director of Operations.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing housekeeping operations in a hotel environment.
- Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
- Excellent organizational and budgeting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple hotel departments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
