Estimation & Quantity Engineer (Interior Fit‑out)

About the role

We are looking for an Estimation & Quantity Engineer to lead cost estimation and quantity surveying for interior fit‑out and turnkey projects. The role involves preparing detailed BOQs, supporting tender processes, and ensuring cost control throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take‑offs and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project quantities, budgets and material consumption, and track variations against approved BOQs.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams to obtain pricing, maintain supplier databases and support material planning.
• Collaborate with design, production, execution and operations teams to verify site measurements and manage project variations.
• Maintain accurate estimation records, technical documents and cost reports; produce MIS reports on costing and procurement status.
• Assist in contractor billing verification, subcontractor quantity reconciliation and preparation of work orders and claims.
• Ensure all estimation activities comply with company standards, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of project data.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of BOQs, quantity surveying, costing, tendering and project budgeting.
• Knowledge of interior materials, finishes and turnkey project execution.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, estimation software and ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with excellent coordination and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in estimation and quantity surveying for interior fit‑out, hospitality, commercial or luxury residential projects.
