Engineering Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Associate to join our hospitality district facilities team in New Delhi. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of building systems and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies.
• Document daily activities and handover information to subsequent shifts.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, and cleanup.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical components, HVAC filters, lighting, and guestroom items.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping‑related inventory, and perform landscaping and sprinkler repairs.
• Apply lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb and handling heavier items with assistance.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
