Electrical Technician

About the role

Join Bosch Group as an Electrical Technician in Bekasi, providing first‑level support for electrical issues on manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of electrical components to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for electrical problems (MAE) and perform initial analysis.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in power supplies, sensors, actuators, motors, and control panels.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan and standards.
• Support PLC‑controlled equipment with basic diagnostics, I/O checks, signal tracing, and programming assistance when authorized.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist with equipment installation, modification, commissioning, and release for new production lines.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, electrical safety, and lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, and Maintenance teams during breakdowns and improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma (Polytechnic or SMK) in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in the automotive industry (preferred).
• Good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Industrial electrical systems: AC/DC power, grounding, protection, control panels, MCC, relays, contactors, circuit breakers.
• PLC diagnostics, I/O checking, signal tracing, basic programming support.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Automation and control knowledge, including PLC logic, HMI interfaces, sensors and actuators.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repair, component replacement, fault resolution.
