Duty Manager – Guest Relations

About the role

The Duty Manager – Guest Relations oversees all guest‑related operations during assigned shifts at a major Indian airport. The role ensures seamless service delivery, monitors staff performance, and promptly addresses guest concerns, especially for VIP and VVIP travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with key clients, government officials, and media representatives through regular communication.
• Ensure all guest‑relations staff adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and privacy laws.
• Prepare, submit, and store required documentation for permits and statutory clearances, coordinating with relevant departments and agencies.
• Supervise daily passenger‑service operations, guaranteeing an exceptional experience for all guests.
• Monitor service quality, enforce compliance with established standards, and manage any crises or issues promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing guest‑relations or passenger‑service teams, preferably in an airport or hospitality setting.
• Strong ability to handle VIP/VVIP guests and resolve issues in real time.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, officials, and media.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to coordinate statutory clearances.
