Drawing & Sketching Teacher

About the role

MAD School, a leading design coaching institute in India, is looking for a passionate Drawing & Sketching Teacher to guide design aspirants from beginner to intermediate levels. The role involves delivering both online and offline classes, providing personalized feedback, and mentoring students toward successful design careers.

Key responsibilities

• Teach fundamental and advanced drawing and sketching techniques through live online and offline sessions.
• Provide constructive feedback on student work, correct answer sheets, and publish results.
• Prepare test papers, conduct mock exams, and evaluate mark sheets to track progress.
• Advise students on academic and professional goals, including portfolio development, internships, and college admissions.
• Assist students in selecting suitable design colleges based on their interests and performance.
• Maintain accurate attendance records for all classes.
• Foster a positive, creative classroom environment that encourages engagement.
• Plan and execute outreach programs such as workshops, school visits, and design competitions.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, entrance exam patterns, and educational developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong sketching and drawing abilities demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Prior teaching or coaching experience in design (preferred).
• Familiarity with design entrance exams such as NIFT, NID, UCEED, CEED, NATA, and JEE Paper 2 is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor students toward their design objectives.
