Director of SPA & Wellness

About the role

The Director of SPA & Wellness will lead all aspects of spa operations, from service delivery to financial performance, ensuring an exceptional guest experience across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations, including salon, skin‑care, fitness, massage, reservations, reception, and locker rooms.
• Develop and manage the spa budget, monitor actual vs. projected sales, and control expenses such as inventory, uniforms, and amenities.
• Select vendors, manage retail product research, purchasing, and merchandising.
• Create and execute spa sales and marketing strategies, including group gifting programs, promotions, co‑op marketing, and holiday events.
• Negotiate spa contracts and addendums for corporate and group clients.
• Lead payroll administration and ensure staffing levels align with budgetary goals.
• Drive exceptional customer service, empower staff, and continuously improve guest satisfaction.
• Conduct HR activities such as recruitment, training, and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in spa or wellness operations, guest services, front‑desk, sales, or marketing.
