DevOps Engineer Integration

About the role

Join BASF's Digital Hub in Hyderabad as a DevOps Engineer focused on integration. You will help shape the future of supply‑chain planning by building and maintaining integration platforms that connect on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Supply Chain Planning Framework on OMP.
• Design, maintain, and monitor interfaces for various integration scenarios.
• Manage data‑integration infrastructure and support functional squads.
• Identify and resolve impediments, driving continuous improvement within an agile, global team.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritisation.
• Introduce AI‑driven tools to boost efficiency and mentor team members.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Understanding of security, cost, and efficiency considerations for cloud solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: SAP ABAP (OO), Python, R, or C#.
• Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and API development.
• Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based integration middleware (e.g., SAP CI, SAP PI/PO, Kafka).
