DA Executive – Government Services (Chennai)

About the role

The DA Executive will support government services invoicing for port calls, ensuring data integrity, timely billing and compliance with contractual terms. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the role involves coordinating with LPA/Partner agents, service providers and internal teams to deliver accurate disbursement accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Track and manage invoice submissions and follow‑up logs to ensure timely billing cycles.
• Prepare, validate and process invoices for port calls and service deliveries in line with contract terms and pricing.
• Cross‑verify operational data, third‑party charges and documentation to ensure billing accuracy.
• Liaise with Operations, Finance and Principal teams to resolve discrepancies and obtain approvals.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in invoicing, finance or disbursement accounts, preferably in a shipping agency.
• College degree or equivalent.
• Good understanding of port agency processes, disbursement accounts and standard invoicing procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using billing portals and ERP systems.
