Customer & Plant Quality Champion

About the role

We are looking for a Customer & Plant Quality Champion to ensure the highest standards of quality across our automotive electronics manufacturing plant in Naganathapura, Bengaluru. You will act as the key liaison between customers and the plant, driving quality initiatives and supporting certification processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) to meet automotive certification requirements.
• Coordinate PPAP submissions and provide series support for customers.
• Manage warranty claims, 0‑km complaints, and field failure analyses.
• Oversee IQIS complaint management and drive corrective actions.
• Lead risk assessments for concessions and complaints.
• Facilitate internal, external, and customer audits.
• Implement zero‑defect initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the value stream.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in customer‑focused quality roles within the automotive sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict‑management abilities.
• Team‑player with emotional stability and leadership potential.

Required skills

• Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) coordination.
• IQIS complaint management system.
