Counsellor – Mental Health Support (Rajkot)

About the role

The INTAS Foundation seeks a compassionate Counsellor to provide mental‑health support to patients and families affected by cancer and other chronic conditions. Based in Rajkot, you will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure holistic care and empower beneficiaries throughout their treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients and caregivers.
• Provide socio‑economic guidance and raise awareness of social and health‑security schemes.
• Maintain accurate case files, patient data, and regular reports.
• Collaborate with clinicians, hospitals, and service providers to facilitate access to care.
• Build and sustain networks with healthcare institutions.
• Coordinate patient‑centric services and deliver essential knowledge and skills to beneficiaries.

Required profile

• Graduation or Post‑Graduation in Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
• 0–1 year of experience; public‑health exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
