Consultant / Senior Consultant – Study Abroad (India locations)

About the role

We are looking for a Consultant and Senior Consultant to help our students with hassle‑free application and paperwork processing for education placements in international institutions. The role also involves mentoring and training fellow counsellors on product knowledge and supporting their professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Guide students through the complex process of studying abroad, providing support and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to consultants to maintain high‑quality services.
• Conduct one‑on‑one counselling sessions to understand educational goals and recommend suitable study‑abroad programs.
• Stay updated on international education trends, admission requirements, and visa regulations to offer accurate information.
• Assist students with application preparation, review materials, advise on standardized tests, and ensure admission requirements are met.
• Advise on financial aspects such as tuition fees, scholarships, and budgeting for living expenses.
• Guide students through visa application processes, ensuring required documentation and legal understanding.
• Organise and participate in workshops, seminars, and fairs to promote study‑abroad opportunities.
• Maintain ethical counselling practices in line with legal requirements and industry regulations.
• Utilise CRM tools to record student interactions, track progress, and manage follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong knowledge of destination and local education systems.
• Minimum 3 years of counselling experience, preferably in the education sector.
• Ability to multitask under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Orientation towards high‑quality service as part of work ethics.
• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel and familiarity with CRM platforms (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem‑resolution abilities.
